City United

City United 2.png

CHOP is asking churches to take an evening once a quarter to lead worship and prayer for the community. Optimally, we would love to see 2 to 4 churches come together to steward something we call City United. If we can get enough churches to participate, then every Wednesday night City United will take place. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights are also an option. Having sister churches combine efforts on community prayer is a beautiful display of unity. Dwelling together in unity commands the blessing of God. Local churches should have their own prayer times, but CHOP offers a place where churches can work together. Once culture and consistency are established, then people will know where to go to worship with the greater body of Christ.

No one church could steward day and night prayer, which is vital to changing the spiritual environment in which we live.  Working together, we can keep the fire going and see the transformation of our society. It starts with prayer, is sustained by prayer, and culminates in worship to the Lord. If you would like to see your church participate, please contact Blake Bush at blake@chop.rocks
