Send Worship Leaders and Musicians

A great first step for churches to be involved is to send musicians. This will in turn help your ministry. Recently Blake Bush lead worship at a church and raved about the drummer. Come to find out the drummer got involved with the church band because that person had come to the House of Prayer and drummed in a worship setting for the first time. (At least the first time in a long time, or maybe even first time ever.) As a professional drummer this person vowed to never play in church (for whatever personal reason). Having been rocked by the presence of God, the drummer ended up jumping into a church band! Often leading in the House is a great first step to leading publically; their is great support from seasoned worship leaders, the crowd size is small, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the worship sets are long.

We have already seen a number of people lead worship for the first time in their lives in the House and develop into great worship leaders. It seems counter intuitive, but sowing into the House often brings a great return to the local church. If you have someone whom you would like to see develop, email Isaac Oltersdorf, our Worship Director, at isaac@chop.rocks

Participate in City United Worship Nights

We are asking churches and pastors to come together in groups of 1 to 4 to steward an evening worship-prayer once a quarter or twice a year. We call it City United. It a great show of unity, and is open to everyone. If every church took an evening, we could cover every night in the calendar. Wouldn't it be sweet to know you could go to the House any given night and experience a unified worship night? If you church would like to know more, please email Blake Bush at blake@chop.rocks
