SPIn24
Sustaining Prayer & Intercession, 24 Hours a Day
A Global Movement of Prayer
God is stirring the same movement in our generation—calling the Church to pray together, day and night, until cities are transformed and the gospel reaches the ends of the earth.
-
In a small German village called Herrnhut, 300 Moravian refugees gathered under the leadership of Count Zinzendorf. Though they had found safety from persecution, soon division and bickering began to fracture their community.
Zinzendorf, deeply grieved, called them to repentance and unity in Christ. As they prayed, God poured out His Spirit in what became known as the “Moravian Pentecost.” Overwhelmed by His presence, they launched a 24/7 prayer watch that lasted—astonishingly—for 100 years.
From that little village, the first global missions movement since the early church was born.
-
Fast forward to today—Indonesia, a nation of nearly 300 million people, now has over 500 “prayer towers” running 24/7. In one province, where evangelism to Muslims is illegal, 70% of the population has become Christian through the power of united prayer.
-
In China, the underground church has established over 10,000 houses of prayer, and nearly 1 million people are coming to Christ every month. Believers attribute this move of God to their persistent, united prayer.
-
Before 1999, few citywide houses of prayer existed. Today, hundreds are springing up across the nation, many pursuing 24/7 rhythms. Right here in Fort Collins, we are part of this global wave of prayer that God is stirring up in every nation.

SPIn24: Sustaining Prayer & Intercession, 24 Hours a Day
We believe it’s time to take a united step forward together in Northern Colorado. That’s why we are launching SPIn24—a citywide prayer initiative where churches commit to covering one day of the month in prayer.
Each church adopts one day (e.g., the second Tuesday of the month).
Congregants sign up for 30-minute slots (or longer if desired). Prayer can happen anywhere—at home, at work, at church, or at CHOP.
Churches can share days if needed, and larger churches may adopt multiple days.
CHOP manages logistics, providing sign-ups, reminders, and support.
