The Old Stone Church Story

About

With some many interested in how the Colorado House of Prayer came into calling the OSC home, we are dedicating a page to the story. Right now we are renting the facility but are being directed by the Lord to buy the building. He has given us a strategy, and we want to share it with you. We hope you find it inspiring!

Phase 1

With the goal of raising $30,000, Phase 1 will establish The Old Stone Church, Corp. with expert attorneys who specialize in real estate and securities laws. RETokens will develop the strategy, structure, and software for the project. Our board and team of advisors (see below) will review the gameplan and then approve it for Phase 2 development.

As of April 22 we have raised $5,000

If you can help with our project please go to our giving page,     enter the amount, then choose the drop down menu item           "Old Stone Church Building Campaign"

Goal for completion: May 2024

Phase 2

In this phase the board of the OSC Benefit Corporation will be established and will be tasked with governing the project. Once the funds are received, the building will be purchased, and we will prepare for Phase 3.

Goal for completion: January 2025

Phase 3

This is where it gets fun! The people of Colorado will buy the building through purchasing fractional shares from Phase 2 investors. With as little as $100 you can become part owner and investor in the oldest church building in Fort Collins, while at the same time blessing the Colorado House of Prayer. As this phase takes a great deal of explanation, details will be released at a later date.

Goal for start date: January 2026

Goal for end date: The return of Christ

Summary: Because The Old Stone Church FC is an LLC (Limited Liability Company), the owners of shares are subject to capitol gains taxes upon the sale of those shares. The LLC will be manager managed, and not member managed. There are certain situations where votes might be taken, as in if the building is ever sold outright for any reason. The House of Prayer will be blessed to have the people of Colorado own the building, and will rent from them with terms beneficial to the ministry, but at the same time incurring most building expenses so that the owners do not have to. The full explanation of how this system will work will be made available mid summer.
